3-D Deer Head Cake

This is my first 3-D deer head cake. I made this for my nephews wedding. He was expecting a sheet cake with a picture of a deer on it, and he was all smiles when he saw his cake. His response to the cake made every last detail worth it, and I would do it for him all over again. This cake is pretty time consuming, but if its someone you love or really want to impress, its worth it.

Fire helmet

So far this cake is the one that I am the most proud of. This grooms cake was made for Williamson Co. Fire fighter, Jason McCord. The bride called me 2 weeks before the wedding with this request. The actual helmet is setting behind the cake. Everything on this cake was edible, including the hard candy shield on the front. The groom was so excited he told them to freeze it not cut it. But of course it was eaten. Once again, this is my favorite.

SpringHill, Tn Bridal show

These 3 cakes are from my first bridal show. It is hard to forget the excitement of all the brides that are planning their dream wedding. Each bride comes through all giddy and wide eyed with their girlfriends, or mom, telling them every detail to there big day. It hard to watch the brides without a smile on your face. At one moment you stop and think about how your role is going to play an important part in the brides dream wedding. The brides are so excited to try cake. Maybe more than once.lol. The cakes you see here are a 3-tier square cake with dahlias, a 3-tier titans cake, & a semi 4-tier round cake.

cakes under construction

I am currently constructing a site of tasty treats. This site will contain pictures of wedding cakes as well as unusual grooms cakes. I also make special occasion cakes for large parties. I do not ship cakes, but am will to fly for the right price! :)
